This booklet was originally written for the interest of those who visit this Spiritualist community that attracts thousands of visitors each year and is sold in the Cassadaga Bookstore. Extensive research was done in places such as Cherry Grove, Minnesota, where the founding father, George P. Colby, once lived, and Fitchburg, Massachusetts, where the Brigham family, early settlers of Cassadaga, previously lived.
Current pictures of some of the buildings in the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp and their history are in the booklet, along with the interesting life story of George P. Colby. How the camp is governed and the past and current activities are also discussed.
