Spirit guides are spiritual entities who have lived as humans on the earth plane but now are living on “the other side of life” in the world of spirit. They are emissaries of God, spirit helpers, who are able to convey information and guidance to those of us who are attuned to their higher vibrations. We each have seven personal guides that we can call upon for spiritual guidance. They are the GATEKEEPER, PHYSICIAN, TEACHER, PHILOSOPHER, NATIVE, MASTER TEACHER, and JOY GUIDE. GATEKEEPER: Is frequently called the life guide because they are with us from birth to transition. They are also protectors and oversee the rest of the “band” of spirits. PHYSICIAN: Sometimes referred to as the Chemist because they adjust the body to receive spirit. Prominent with people who do healing, such as nurses, or can assist intuitively directing us with self-healing or diagnosis. TEACHER: Frequently are dominant with those who work as a teachers or with children, as in daycare. Can be a teacher of life, such as helping with appropriate responses to our karmic lessons. PHILOSOPHER: Gives guidance in material matters, such as, managing a business, budgets, buying stock or on a lessor scale, balancing the checkbook. Assists with appropriate attitudes and philosophies for higher development. NATIVE: Will represent the country you were born in. Most familiar to me in my work is the Native American Indian. Works with forces of nature, has a kinship to the elements of earth and is the ruler of nature. Also are protectors when we travel. MASTER TEACHER: Imparts spiritual wisdom, especially that of the Far East. Heavily influences those who work as mediums or in religious activities. They can help us to acquire a more spiritual perception of life. JOY GUIDE: Almost always appears as a child because children can be impish, mischievous and fun-loving. They are the practical joker in us. They usually appear when someone needs to “lighten up”.
